A letter from an eternally lost friend, please read

My Friend

My friend, I stand in judgment now
And feel that you're to blame somehow
On earth I walked with you each day
And never did you point the way.

You knew the Lord in truth and grace
But never did you tell the story
My knowledge then was very dim
You could have led me safe to Him

Tho' we lived together on earth
You never told me of the Second birth
And now I stand this day condemned
Because you failed to mention Him

You taught me things that were true
I called you friend and trusted you
But I learn now its too late
You could've saved me from this fate.

You walked by day and talked by night
And yet you showed me not the light
You let me live and love and die
You know that I'll never live on high

Yes, I called you friend in life
And trusted you thru' joy and strife
And yet on coming to this end
I cannot now call you "my friend".

Attitude - Charles Swindoll

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, then failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, or a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. Nor can we change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We also cannot change the inevitable. The only thing that we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you - we are in charge of our attitudes.
