Reflect upon the lyrics of the song and sing along.
Each week we will be given the verses and questions to
ponder about, so that our first 40 minutes of ZOOM will be a self-discovery of
our Maker!
Gen1:26 Then Elohim said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;
and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens
and over the cattle and over all the earth,
and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
27. wayibra’ ‘Elohim ‘eth-ha’adam b’tsal’mo
b’tselem ’Elohim bara’ ‘otho zakar un’qebah bara’ ‘otham.
Gen1:27 And Elohim created man in His own image,
in the image of Elohim He created him; male and female He created them.
28. way’barek ‘otham ‘Elohim wayo’mer lahem ‘Elohim p’ru ur’bu
umil’u ‘eth-ha’arets w’kib’shuah ur’du bid’gath hayam ub`oph hashamayim
ub’kal-chayah haromeseth `al-ha’arets.
Gen1:28 And Elohim blessed them; and Elohim said to them, Be fruitful and multiply,
and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea
and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
After preparing everything, we read this above dialog taking
place in the heavenly realm.
Reflection questions to consider about our Maker (Look for
the answers in these verses only)
1.
Who conceived the making of
mankind?
2.
Think of the word “US” in
this verse and consider their ONENESS. Express it!
3.
What is the semblance of
mankind to his Maker?
4.
How can we know who is
greater? Maker or creation
5.
Why is heaven a place for
modelling perfection?
6.
Were there any other
creatures whom God made in His own image and likeness, like mankind?
1.
How did our Maker create
mankind?
2.
What genders did our Maker
create?
1.
Why do we need our Maker’s
blessing?
2.
How does our Maker view the
role that each gender plays in His blessing?
3.
Does our Maker want each
gender to be self-sufficient?
4.
Can any one of the genders
achieve all that our Marker said in His blessing?
5.
What was our Marker
intention to make one dependent on another?
6.
Can anyone then live in
isolation (when our Maker’s design was to complete and complement and not
compete and compare)?
7.
Can mankind continue to
know the Maker if we do not spend enough time with His instructions (Bible)?
8.
Can the world’s view be
different from that of our Maker?
We will take a 10 minutes break and those who wish to return
for a Q&A session can do so.
This will be in 2 parts:
1.
Questions covering the 3
verses and exploring the Hebrew words which can be researched using Tools that
are available to us.
2.
Learning the ABC of the
Hebrew language for those who are interested and other needs.
