Miscalculated

1st Jan content was for week 1 so I will rewrite everything and discuss only Day 1 which is 35 verses for 5 days study. That is 2 page of our LOVE guide.

The rest of it will be covered of the next 3 weeks. 

THE ULTIMATE GEM IN HIS WORD

 This morning's reflection gives us a different focus on "THE BATTLE OF THE SEEDS"

Yes, it is a "Gem" indeed!

Besides discovering parallelism in thematic studies we also have chiastic themes that brings us to a climatic X as see above.  This "BATTLE OF THE SEEDS" that started in Genesis 3:15 also sees its end in Revelation 12:17.  Many are such battles as we will discover in our remaining part of the 1,000 days together.  His "repeats" are for us to SEE and HEAR what He wants us to discern spiritually.

The inference of A=B and B=C making A=C is important in discerning what is going on here. The woman's seed is Jesus as He defeated his enemy on the cross in His first coming.  He was resurrected and had spoken to His disciples before He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.  But we have another coming, we with Him in the cloud.  We, the overcomers, are the offspring of the woman and will be a major part of these verses too.  There is no segregation into race as we are all one in Him, His children. 

The seed of the serpent of old aka Satan will keep seducing and deceiving us as he did with the woman in the garden where the man also wanted willfully to be knowing good and evil (despite walking in the cool of the day hearing the good from God Himself).  As this sin fills the "judgement triggering" cup we will see God giving the stiff necks amongst us up to do as we please.  What are we observing in this world today? Gender identity crisis, transhumanism, self learning AI bots, abortions modernized from when sacrifice were made to Molech in the guise of woman's rights and the list go on.  Articles like this may not be in the near future as the big tech AI censorship will edit it or remove it all together!

Now is the time for His overcomers whom according to the extrapolation above are the ones who keep God's Commandments and also have the testimony of Jesus in their mouths.  How can this happen if we are busy with life not paying attention to this fundamental TRUTH.  The increase is His yet He doesn't mind our partnership NOT that He needs it.  He can do it all Himself, remember, being omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, as He is. But as Father God, He desires for His children to be about His business!

JAN 4 GENESIS

 

As stated yesterday today's storyline has another sibling rivalry.  Did you feel that Cain and Abel could also be twins?

Today we look at Jeremiah 1:1-19 and Romans 3:1-24 for a change but don't forget our main topic is still Chapter 4 since these thematic patterns are right throughout His Word.

Now we see the Old Testament, Jeremiah's portion, completed for you to observe.  Key words and phrases are included in this chart but do investigate the whole verse and derive your own conclusion.  You can see much more than this if you do your homework.  Revisit the earlier dates and complete them as well.

Yes, even the New Testament writers alluded to the same schema. It is even more interesting when we realize that the Torah portions were sung almost like my mentioning of the nursery rhymes earlier.  Why is it difficult than to remember the concepts as referenced in each portion and restated not in its exact order but in an uncanny recognizable way.  Yes, memory verses are good for us to continue working on but imagine when we can recite the whole book because we had mapped these thematic patterns and pieced them together.

Finally, closing out this day by remembering to recognize patterns or plots or themes which we had covered in the 16 Major themes from Gen 1:1 - 3:24.  

A climatic one for the road!

NEW AND OLD TESTAMENT THEMES CONNECTED

 As I had started reading in earnest His Word from 1995 (when my wife was miraculously healed from having only 2 hours sleep for 7 months) I have grown to love Him more and more.  In recent time His thematic connections assure me that it is almost impossible NOT to understand Him.  This is certainly not a force fit of a round peg in a square hole but a systematic approach covering much if not all of the 16 Major Themes I mentioned yesterday.  It is liken to our nursery rhyme learnt as toddlers which we most often cannot forget.

Today we will all realize that none of us are perfect except Him therefore we need to be thankful for our day of salvation and the many who had prayed for us to know Him as Lord and Savior and eventually the Lord Himself giving us as the increase into His Kingdom so that none of us can boast of that effort.

 

The fact that all mankind enter this world as sinner slips our mind once we are saved and are growing.  Therefore reflecting on an imperfect man falling even if from God's very own Breath makes a lot of sense as there is only ONE who is PERFECT!  This will "force" us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling and accepting also the measure of faith given by Him.

The placement of a new HEART brings about the renewing of the mind.  The reconstructed reasoning  mind at an appropriate age will then cause our mouths to confess our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. This cannot happen in babies but as parents, we can expose them to our faith so that they will one day personally do the same for themselves.

So these connections are written by John, the Lord's beloved disciple whose Bible is the Old Testament which includes the first 5 books from where all if not much of what his writings are derived.  For that matter, every author, with the exception of the DIVINE (who is the source), cannot write anything other than what they have read or heard from the DIVINELY approved sources.  Now you can see why THEMATIC connections make sense!

JAN 3 : GEN 2:4-3:24

 

With today's homework we would have covered 16 major themes that will recur throughout His Word.  They often appear with many such similar themes found with its base in the Gen 1:1 to Gen 3:24 cluster.  We will examine these patterns as we cover our daily reading sessions.  

So what do these combined readings of Jan 2 and Jan 3 reveal?

It starts with the preparation of everything for mankind. therefore our verbiage should reflect such.

Theme 1:Creation till mankind or Everything created for man or New Creation before mankind existed

Theme 2: Mankind in God's image to oversee creation or Mankind made in the image of God to have dominion over God's creation

So work on all these themes which is different from the parallelism we saw within Genesis Chapter 1.  The last theme seems like a punishment for the disobedience by removal from the land.

  

This is only one of the verses but our goal is to seek if the 16 major themes are actually also found in Cain's story which is tomorrow's study!  Be patient and you will be rewarded with an amazing time in His Word.

This is an interesting way God as Father has placed repeats for His imperfect children or individuals like us to take note of. He is lovingly "nagging" at us His children to follow the TRUTH !

Jan 2 continuation

Tips and connecting themes will be provided usually after you have studied for yourself.  This way you would have probably observed some of the tips provided.  This will make our weekend Bereans' ZOOM sessions very engaging (as I facilitate the initial seasons until others want to participate too).

This morning I wrote a reflection on how to observe the themes connecting even within the same first chapter. Kindly review that post.  Tips for this Day 1 to Day 4 connection comes from observing the first mention of the word "Light". 

This parallelism can give us greater insight into how creation lights will eventually end and how we live in eternity with only His Glorious Light.

Now to observe how after seeing Day 1 connected to Day 4 we can plot Day 2 to Day 5.

The tips for these are: there are two type of creations which fill the separation of the waters. Examine how the waters take shape and how the creatures fill it.

This is Day 3 which is Resurrection???  What is coming forth and for what purpose? Who is blessed?

EYES TO SEE

The year has started and our goal to complete our yearly reading of His Word begins!

Our first day's reading had us review in a cursory form Genesis 1:3 to 1:5 and Gen 1:14 to 1:19 without us seeing what a spiritual discerning eye should have seen, the connection!

So what is there to SEE!

1. Creator's light and creation's lights because in the end creation's lights do not exist (Isa 60:19, Rev22:5).  What should this tell us about the worship of the sun (posture in yoga's indoctrination) and the moon (fastest growing people group) and or mother nature for that matter (currently trending with tax implication).

2. Evening and morning denotes the calendar is a lunar one and not our Gregorian. The sign and season emphasizes that major events in all of civilization seems to have occurred on these Fall and Spring feasts days.  Keep our eyes open to the next Spring feast starting around April so we can see what this means.

3. The sun is a star and there is a generation of the birthing of stars (Gen2:4) that seems to indicate that the universe is still reproducing, as the earth is.  Is this the unending birthing and death of the heavenlies till the scroll is rolled up (Rev6:14)?  

We must have read a few pages but why rush it if we desire to SEE HIM!
